Today marks what would have been Whitney Houston's 50th birthday.
Music and memories will mark the missed milestone on this somber anniversary for the late singer's family, friends and fans. Whitney's life and star power is also being remembered in a new comic book by Bluewater Productions.
Titled, simply, "Tribute: Whitney Houston," the 32-page comic book was written by Raphael Morgan and drawn by Kirk Feretzanis and Neil Feigeles, who calls Houston one of his personal favorite singers.
A headstone for Houston's grave was recently unveiled in her home state of New Jersey. The marble monument, shaped like a teardrop is overlaid with a heart shape that bears an image of the singer and the title of her mega hit single, "I Will Always Love You." Houston died on February 11th, 2012, of what was later determined to be an accidental drowning. She was 48 years old.
